2012 TQRA Schedule

The 2012 TQRA Championship ATV motocross racing series will travel to premier motocross tracks in Texas and Oklahoma. We hold competitive ATV and UTV races that are open to anyone to race! We have classes for all ages and skill levels! Join in on the fun with us for the 2012 season! We are the largest ATV Racing series in the Central United States and have racers travel from all over the country to compete in our premier ATV racing series! Our family oriented atmosphere and fun racing competition keeps our racers coming back for more! Racers in amateur classes compete for event awards and TQRA members are eligible for overall series points to receive championship awards at the end of the season. Our Expert class offers intense racing action with competitors competing for cash awards. The Expert class features a guaranteed 150% Purse payback! Come out and watch some of the fastest ATV Racers in the world compete! We will also be hosting 6 rounds of UTV Racing at select events and will be available for 50% purse pay back and Can Am Contingency Programs!

  • 1 Texas round drop race  and 1 Oklahoma round drop race
  • Must make 8 races and be a member by round 5 to be eligible for overall championship points and awards.
  • 6 events will have Side x Side racing for Can-am contingency

Typical Event Weekend Schedule and Fees

Friday – 5-11pm Gates Open for camping (Track Camping Fees Apply)
Saturday of Event
  • Practice Day
  • Saturday Gates Open- 8am-10pm
  • Practice- 11-4pm
  • Practice fee – $15-20
  • Early Race Registration Available
Sunday Racing Begins
  • Gates Open – 6am
  • Practice- 8am 2 Laps ONLY
  • Races Start at – 9 am
Weekend Fees
  • Spectator and competitor event entry fee – $15-$20 (age 4-under and 65+ free)
  • Primitive Camping $10 Per family/ per night
  • RV Hook up Fees – Call Track to verify fees and availability
  • Trailer drop – $5 for the weekend
  • Practice Fee $15-$20
Competitor Race Entry Fee
  • Expert/Pro-am classes $50 Non-Member / $40 TQRA Member
  • Amateur Classes – $45 Non-Member / $35 TQRA Member
  • Addition Classes – $10 discount on second class sign up

Additional Event Info-

  • 150% guaranteed payouts on the Expert class.
  • 80% Payout for Pro/Am Class
  • 50% Payout for the Over 30 A class
  • Amateur Trophies/Awards three places at EVERY event.
  • ALL peewee/mini will trophy.
  • $10.00 discount for members on race entry fees at each 2012 Championship Series race
  • Racers must compete in 8  races to be eligible for overall series awards.
  • Points will accumulate through entire season -
  •  2 drop races only 1 Texas Event and 1 Oklahoma Event are eligible for a drop race
  • Must have 3 entries to make a class
  • Special practice days tracks the Saturday of event weekend
  • End of Season Party/banquet – Everyone Welcome to Attend!
  • Rain outs will be called by Friday at noon on the event weekend. TQRA voice mail, website, and email notifications will be updated.
  • Year end contingencies for classes with LESS THAN (3) overall contenders, will be at the discretion of the TQRA Officers and Board of Directors.
  • If you do not attend the awards banquet to claim your contingencies, they will be donated back to TQRA for future use.
  • You must be a TQRA MEMBER of the 2012 series by the 5th round in order for your points to count towards overall awards and contingencies!

  • 6. 14-24 yrs School Boy – (14 – 24yrs – see class rules for exceptions)
  • 7. Plus 25 class
  • 8. Over 30 “A”
  • 9. Over 30 “B”
  • 10. Over 40
  • 11. Women’s Open – (12 & up – see class rules for exceptions)
  • 12. Co-ed Youth – (12 – up)
  • 13. Super Mini – (9 – 14)
  • 14. Sr. Mini – (8 – 12)
  • 15. Jr. Mini – (6 – 11)
  • 16. Sr. Pee Wee – (6 – 10)
  • 17. Jr. Pee Wee – (3 – 6)
  • 18. Open Mini Mod – (9– 15)
  • 19. Mini stock class – (7 – 11)
  • 20. Open UTV  (at select events)
